How do you wake up in the morning?

How do you wake up in the morning? Do you hit the snooze button 5 times? I know what that feels like! But, what kind of message does that send out into the universe? If you want to believe in the law of attraction, abundance and manifestation, this definitely isn't how you should be starting your day.

I know sometimes our to-do lists feel daunting and our lives feel repetitive, flat and full of things we don't even want to be doing. I am asking you to start paying attention to this. Start noticing your habits, your inner voice and your desires.

Paying attention so that you can start making shifts in your life, requires tremendous courage. But life is SO short, don't you want to feel excited to jump out of bed every morning before you can't?

I know that social media may make my life appear as very glamorous with travel and teaching yoga. I would like to demystify this by saying 3 things: 1) You can have the life that you want. MY life is full and I do have glamorous moments I am so grateful for! (I also still have really difficult times, but with very hard work, I have trained myself to always come back to abundance and acceptance of universal order) 2) I have worked very hard for these things in my life and worked through the fear, self-doubt and probably the most challenging: criticism of others. Even when people around you care, they may tell you to take the safe secure route because they are either envious and don't have the courage to move past it themselves, or they are living so scarcely that they are afraid that everything is out to get you. 3) Resiliency. Some people are born into seemingly awesome lives and things come easier to them, I am not denying that this is real! But why is it that some folks who face tremendous adversity end up being some of the most powerful thought-leaders out there?

Life is so beautiful, if we can drop our concerns with anything other than what leaves us fulfilled, we can experience that beauty.
